Liz researches carbon cycle dynamics and the impact of changes in Antarctica on global climate. Using terrestrial ecosystem models and intermediate-complexity earth system model simulations, she investigates carbon fluxes and environmental change in the present and past warm intervals to understand possible future scenarios.
She is co-chair of the Modelling and Future Projections Working Group and the National Modelling Hub, and is a co-leader of ASP Project 4.
